For one thing, we are moving the store to a new location. It's scary, it's big and it's going to be COMPLETELY AWESOME!! I'm really excited but there is a lot of work that has gone into this and there is still more to come. I went on a buying trip this weekend and bought more frames than I intended but I think it will work out.

Miss Pinks gets out of school this week. I cannot believe she is already done with the second grade. Where does all this time go? Before I know it, she'll be dating and driving and going to college. OH, I better just stop. She is just so amazing and I am so proud of her, every day. You know, she only missed two days of school this year and that was just because I was having her baby brother! She likes school and we are going to miss her teachers! MAN, did we get lucky with some fabulous teachers.

In other news, I joined Weight Watchers in January. Having Mr. Man really did a number on me and I've needed to lose weight, but I put it off for one dumb reason or another. I didn't have much of a choice though, my blood pressure was high, my joints hurt all the time and I needed to lose the weight to be healthy, not thin. So far, I have lost 26 pounds!! WOO! I am very proud of myself. Here is what I look like less the 26 pounds:

It's actually been pretty easy to do. I also got new glasses and I must admit that they make me feel very sexy! I just had my birthday so now I'm 33 and I'm working on being more fit for me and my family.

That's really about it. I've been super busy with the store change over, but it's going to be good. More space, more stuff and just plain "more" of everything. I even get to have an office at the new store! Impressive, huh?

Well, I am up way past my bedtime and Mr. Man will be waking me up at 6:00, so I should go. I hope everyone is doing well. I miss blogging and I miss getting to find out what is going on in the world. Maybe one day my life will slow down enough for me to do more on the internets.

Well, I guess it really has. I've just been so swamped with work and family that I barely spend any time on the computer. Even now, I've got to go get Miss Pinks in the bed. I'm posting a pic for you guys since, believe it or not, Mr. Man is already 6 months old! Holy Crapola! He's getting so big and is doing more and more every day. Amazing little bugger. Well, he's not really little. He wears 18 months and up, but it isn't all pudge! He's LOOOONG! Big baby! LOVE HIM TO PIECES!!

It was really sweet! He loves her so much.

I've got lots going on and a sleepy little girl that just fussed at me for not tucking her in, so I better go. I hope all is well out in the world. Hugs, love and all that jazz...

I neglect it all the time. I'm thinking I may close it and sell off all my beads. With the business, 2 kids and a house to run, I don't have time to think straight. I'll let you guys know if I have a big blowout sale and reduce everything.

Other than that, I'm busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. Yeah, I wrote that, no, I don't really feel that bad about it.

Guys, she is growing up so fast!! I bet in a few years (like maybe only 2!) she's going to be as tall as me or taller. She decided to cut all her hair off the other day and I think it looks fantastic. Most of all, she loved it and the reaction she got from all her friends. What a lucky woman I am to have such gorgeous children! And she's thoughtful, kind and smart! There is a brand new girl in her class, so when we did the Valentine's Day cards, she gave one of the big ones to her best friend, and one to the new girl so that she could have something extra special since she's new. How sweet is that? Man, I just love her to pieces!!

Things have been busy, busy, busy here! But, I am going to try to post more often and actually check in on my blog buddies, too. Oh, I joined Weight Watchers at the end of January and I am just shy of losing 10 pounds! I've lost 11 inches off my waist and hips so far! WOO! Look out world, healthy Pinky coming through!

Well I think it's SUPER funny. I may eat, I may not. But you can admire my cuteness while I decide. I also like to play in my jumperoo so much, that I pass out from exhaustion. No, I haven't been drinking, it only looks that way....

When I'm not trying to take over the world by being the sweetest baby boy evah, I'm totally loving my sister. She rocks!! Look, here we went to this crazy building because she won 2 awards for her art! Cool, huh? Both of them will go on to compete at the State Competition.

My mom is really proud of her! She was also in the local paper for the parade her class put on celebrating the Chinese New Year. Being 4 months old (already!) is tough, but it's not so bad when you have a super sister, a snuggly momma and a dad that lets me drool on him and he still love me anyway.

So here it is, the end of another year. I once again find myself sitting here wondering "where did it all go?" But I know the answer to that. I was pregnant for most of it, then the rest has been filled with baby-ness.

I was folding Mr. Man's laundry yesterday and I was thinking about how often I fold up his and Miss Pinks, I make sure it gets put up and that the house is mostly clean. I do what I can but it could be mopped more often. I try to make sure that Miss Pinks has her favorite juice and afternoon snacks and that Hubs has all his favorite foods, too. I make sure there are clean towels and that we never run out of hand soap/ toothpaste/ body wash/ shampoo.

I know that I don't always come out on top and that sometimes I'm a real pill to deal with, but I try. I try to take care of my family everyday. I make sure they all get hugs and kisses and comfort. I try to lend an ear for Hubs anytime he needs me to. I help with homework and I make sure baths are just right, not too hot.

I don't usually make resolutions but I think this year I'm going to try to treat myself a little better too. I put me last and I have got to quit doing that. Yes, I am a mom, wife, employer, friend, sister, daughter. But, I am ME above all else and I think it's time I remember that.

My 2008 was filled with so many wonderful and amazing things, I don't think I have to wherewithal to write it all down. So, I'll just say that it was grand. I have a new son, I have a spectacular daughter, I have a loving husband and a thriving business. May 2009 be blessed, too.

Life is just waaaaaay more busy than I thought it would be. Coming up on the Christmas season at work, balancing 2 kids, trying not to go crazy and all the time, being happy for a five minute shower whenever I can snag it. It's crazy, but amazing.

Miss Pinks as "Fancy Nancy" for Halloween at school. She went as a vampire that night, but my camera was being contrary and I don't have shots of that yet. Had to take it with a real camera! One that has film in it! The horror!!!

Mr. Man being snuggly while I work. He's hiding in there somewhere!

That's it, not much else is going on. I'm looking for a "new to me" car and some more staff for the holidays. One search is going better than the other! HA! Hope all is well and I'll try to get by blogs soon. HUGS and LOVE!!!

I've been Crafty!!

First up is something I made for me. I don't do a whole lot of that, so you should be impressed. Last week, Karen over at Misses Kwitty had this FABULOUS tip about using stick glue when trying to get something to stay in place that pins just wouldn't work right on. Well she was right!! I woke up early yesterday and made this for me:

Isn't it cute?? I've been just cramming my hooks into yarn balls that were not in use, but that's not always a good thing. Karen's tip worked wonders as it made it easier to tack the ribbons and set the material. Thank you so much!!

Next up is a hat and scarf set that I put together for Miss Pinks. I am SO in love with this set!! The color is really a pretty purple, but it looks blue in the photo. (also, I'm washing sheets, so not one word about the naked bed!)

The pattern for the hat was plain, but with the curly scarf, I wanted to add a little flair, so I added a ruffle to the trim.

She loved it!! Hubs even thought it turned out well and it didn't take me that long to do, so this may be a set you see again before this winter is out.

Well, this may be my last post for a little while. They are going to induce labor tomorrow morning so I'll be at home snuggling with my new son. I'll try to post photos of him and at least give an update, but you know how that labor thing goes! Please, say a prayer or wish me luck. I'll see you guys when I'm Momma X 2!!!
