I just finished this piece for JewelStreet's Creative Challenge # 16!! The challenge is to create a piece out of the color she picks. This is what I came up with:

Go check it out! This was a lot of fun and I have never done anything like this. The challenge continues till the end of the week if anyone else wants to join in! (hint, hint, Blurr!!)

That necklace is just too cool! I love it...the color, the design and the stone donut...your work is really coming along!

I had better start selling some more quilts!

Thank you! I actually had used the onyx piece in something for me, never wore it and took it apart yesterday morning. I'm so glad I did!!

Great design Pinky, as usual, very YOU and very unique. Sorry for taking so long to comment...my brain was broken again...still kind of is, but I wanted to say something about this and your last post...brilliant! ;)

People may find that story sad to start off with, but notice how they read it all and still commented? Guaranteed they will be back for more...I know I will.

Very nice Pinky. You are really growing as an artist, girl! WOW! Now what exactly is the challenge and what color? the green or the black or what?

Thanks for all the love! The color is called golden olive. There is a thread in the ETC. section of the forums that say "Creative Challenge #16". All my artist buddies should join in! It was a lot of fun!!

Hey, I "like" that necklace! Wish I could wear it, it's so nice!

Awesome work, Pinky! Obviously, I'm not an artist like the regulars hear. They have a better eye for good art, but I know what I like and it's very good.
