Another Work In Progress

I wasn't going to post this, but I figured, heh, why not? So here is another WIP. It's larger than the last one, this is 16x20, which is larger than anything I've done before. Oh, I decided to name the last painting "Meteor Fish" based on suggestions by Mindtwister and Brian. Thanks for the input guys!!

It's a little dark, but I was trying not to get a glare on it. It's a grey background with variations of pinks and purples with a set of angel wings in the center. The wings are highlighted with purple, but you can't really see it in this shot.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!! My love ~Pinky!

Oh wow! That's very cool. :) Can't wait to see it when you've finished. Heh, it looks finished to me! ;)

It looks much better when you see it directly from the front, but it was too wet for that. I really want to do something across the center that I think may be a little graphic. Don't know yet. I'm glad you like it!!

((((Pinky)))

Well you know my take on this painting, and I think you need to paint whatever it needs, otherwise, it won't have the power that is going to be required. I will miss you my friend, so keep in touch. :)

Hey Madd, you aren't too far off from what it is. I'm letting the painting tell me what it wants, so we'll see where it goes from here.

Christine, SO glad you like! It's a little nerve wracking putting my paintings out there. Jewelry, cool. Paintings, eh, not as cool.

BRIAN you snuck in on me!!! (((HUG))). I was just thinking about you, too. I know what you think and I hope by the time you get home the rest will be revealed. Have a good vacation!!!

Hey Heather! Yeah, that's what I'm doing. You know that better than anyone, you have to let the painting tell you what it wants. Hope you are well!

HEY Karen!! Thank you! I go back to the doctor today to get all the final results.

HEY EVERYBODY, go see what Mrs. Kwitty has on her blog for Christmas stuff. AMAZING work!!

ANN! You know what's fuuny? I have tried for years to draw wings and they all looked terrible. Somehow painting surpasses all that for me. Thank you for the compliments!

I feel honored to have taken part in the naming process of your last piece. It was very surprising to see my link up here too :)

This one looks pretty cool, although I'm thinking a moustache, so I'm way off on what it looks like....lol!

Can't wait to see the finished piece!

wow that is very very nice!!! I like that;) is that in oil or acrylic?

RG, I'm going to be working on the next phase tomorrow. I know what I want it to be now.

MT! You and Brian nailed it and I am tickled to have you play a part in naming the piece. Don't worry, from this angle, all I see is moustache, too! REALLY!!

WB, how's the castle piece coming? I can't wait to see it!! This painting is done in oils. I'm still new at using them, but I really like the way you can mash the colors together and create a sense of layering. FUN!
