***Update: Baby Abby has been taken to another hospital to be placed in NICU care. Her lungs aren't as developed as they originally thought. This is really hard on my friend so please keep them both in your prayers. Thanks for all the well wishes that have been sent and I will let you know how they are both doing.***

Oh boy...I'm sure she'll be fine! A friend of mine from years back had a baby 3 months premature, at only less than 2 pounds and he turned out just fine. :) It is worrisome though...making sure they are okay until their weight increases to at least 6. Hang in there Pinky's Friend and Baby Abby! You can do it! :)
Oh, I love babies! I'm glad he's okay and so is mom. I'll keep them in my prayers.

I will most definitely keep them in my prayers! My cousin's baby, Jacob, was born at 2lbs, 3ozs, his lungs weren't developed- and he had a lot of problems for the first year of his life- but to look at him now, he's perfectly healthy. Tell your friend to hang in there *Hugs*
What a nightmare for poor mom.. I will keep them in my prayers!!!
