My daughter starts school again tomorrow. It seems too soon, it seems like I haven't had enough time. It just seems like I haven't done enough with her this summer and I tried to cram it in over the last couple of weeks and I just couldn't do it. I'll be back tomorrow, but I'm hanging on to the last day of summer while I can.
Great, it just started raining.

I put the kids down to bed 30 minutes ago.
Don't be too rough on yourself, Pinky, because you'll be going to school plays and activities and you got the evening with her.
I know how you feel, though. I like hanging out with them, but what with work, the musicals I play for on occasion, mom taking them out, their evening dance classes, it's hard to spend enough time with them. And I kept saying to myself, there's still time. Next week, I'll...(fill in the black.)

my son starts school next week, we went to his Kindergarten Camp today.....he was fine but I held back tears. It seems like time goes by so quickly....where did the summer go?

Thanks guys, I needed the pep talks. I know it's cool, it just feels like I'm just now getting to spend time with her and school starts.
But, Pavel, you're right. I've signed up for PTA, room mom, book club, you name it. I bet I'll be at the school as much as she is! Thank you, RG, I know how that tear holding thing goes! We'll make it through this!

The seasons are really different where you are compared to here...our schools don't start up again until Sept 5th or so. I guess that means that your schools let out earlier too then, sometime in May perhaps? Ours don't end until the middle of June or so.
